Betsy McCall Vintage Printable Paper Dolls

The character Betsy McCall first appeared as a paper doll in the May 1951 issue of McCall’s magazine. The character Betsy was described as a girl, five soon to be six years old, lives in a little white house with her parents, and Nosy, her puppy. In the story Betsy and Nosy and Betsy’s friends play together all the time. The paper doll character was so popular that McCall’s went on to produce a collectible doll based on the original paper doll. Betsy’s paper doll character was so popular that it had a 44 year monthly published feature, in which it ceased in 1995.
